Specialising in site-specific installation, Aoife uses the poetic juxtaposition of the object immersed in the space, often in the outdoors or in abandoned buildings. In her work, commonplace objects and materials are used in the multitude and repeat to create immersive and magical environments. Aoife often constructs aerial sculptures that are animated by light. She is interested in calling attention to the aesthetics of space by creating these experiential works.
